The Processing Trim Agents are responsible for trimming the medical cannabis product to our quality and efficiency standards. The position could also include packaging, harvest breakdown, and other duties.Responsibilities:Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamworkTake direction from managementPerform the duties of the position in a safe and efficient mannerAbility to work on your own or with a team depending on the taskMaintain a clean and safe workspace throughout your shiftClean and reset processing equipment at the end of each shiftFollow safety guidelines and PPE requirementsAccurately follow standard operating procedures for each process being performed, as well as being observant and offering suggestions on how to improve these processesSet goals and meet deadlinesEngage in industry education and professional development, as neededAssist with harvesting and other procedures involved in preparing harvested flowers for processingHand or machine trim flower quickly and efficientlyMaintain consistent trim numbers without sacrificing qualityAccurately weigh and record trimming weights and numbersAbility to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, often the entire shiftPerform occasional moderate to heavy manual laborPerform repetitive motions of hands, wrists, and forearmsProper disposal of any wasteHelp maintain inventory of applicable materials and productsGeneral facility cleaning and other various tasks as needed to maintain an optimal work environmentMaintain a positive consistent packaging numbers without sacrificing qualityAccurately weigh and record packaging weights and numbersLabel packages and fulfill ordersOccasionally deliver products to licensed Utah medical cannabis facilitiesAbility to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, often the entire shiftPerform occasional moderate to heavy manual laborPerform repetitive motions of hands, wrists, and forearmsProper disposal of any wasteHelp maintain inventory of applicable materials and productsGeneral facility cleaning and other various tasks as needed to maintain an optimal work environmentOther job duties as requestedQualifications:Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalentAbility to pass a federal background check and obtain proper licensing with state agencies to be able to handle medical cannabisMust be 21 years of age or olderMust have a food handlers permitCannabis industry experience preferred but not necessaryExperience in horticulture, agriculture, or manufacturing preferred but not necessaryAbility to work and be adaptable under pressure in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated, methodical, versatile, mechanically inclinedMust have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 poundsAbility to remain compliant with all applicable laws as well as company SOPs and guidelinesAbility to communicate effectively via, email, phone calls, text, or any other methods frequently used within the companyReliable transportation to and from workAbility to work beyond regularly scheduled hours of work as needed to be sure production deadlines are metBasic computer skills (i.e. email, excel)Customer service experience for the time that you will be working at our pharmacyAbility to stand or sit for 8-12 hoursAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, commonly used solvents and volatile organic compounds, allergens, pollen, plant pathogens, and other environmental variables.
