We serve industries including power generation, cement, chemical processing, paper, mining, water/wastewater, food processing, and oil & gas.Position SummaryThe Field Operations Manager owns the execution, performance, and continuous improvement of all field operations. This role is responsible for leading field teams, managing project logistics and costs, and building the operational systems required to scale efficiently.This position combines hands-on operational leadership with ownership of the administrative side of the business—including scheduling, cost tracking, vendor coordination, and field reporting—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & ExecutionLead all field operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time project executionImplement and improve systems to reduce equipment downtime and operational disruptionsStandardize processes across job sites to drive consistencyEnsure full compliance with OSHA and company safety standardsIdentify and resolve operational challenges as they ariseTeam Leadership & Workforce ManagementManage and lead a large field team (20+ personnel), including Assistant Field Operations Managers, Field Project Managers, Field Foreman, and Field TechniciansSet clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performanceOversee workforce scheduling, planning, and strategic deploymentDevelop team capabilities through coaching and day-to-day leadershipBuild a strong, team-oriented culture focused on safety and executionOperational Systems, Administration & Logistics OversightOversee and take ownership of:Purchase orders, invoice approvals, and vendor managementProject cost tracking, budgeting, and financial oversightTimekeeping accuracy, approvals, and payroll coordination (e.g., QuickBooks)Field documentation (JSAs, production reports, equipment records)Ensure all operational and financial information is accurate and kept up to dateCoordinate travel, equipment rentals, and vendor logistics to support field workBuild simple, effective processes that keep operations running smoothly as the company growsDelegate administrative tasks where appropriate while maintaining overall responsibilityCost Management & Resource PlanningManage field budgets and keep projects operating within financial expectationsApprove invoices and monitor project spendingIdentify opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing safety or qualityOversee purchasing, rentals, and subcontracted servicesPlan inventory and resources to support ongoing operationsQualificationsMust HavesExperience managing large field teamsStrong working knowledge of OSHA safety standardsProven experience managing project costs, approving invoices, and staying within budget3–7+ years in field operations, construction, industrial services, or similarStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities at onceProficiency with systems such as QuickBooks, Excel, and project tracking toolsNice to HaveHeavy industrial experience (pumping equipment, dredging, or similar)Hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment in the fieldExperience generating weekly operational reportsBachelors preferredAdditional RequirementsAbility to travel up to 30% of the time to support field operations and project needsPersonal Traits for SuccessTakes ownership and follows throughComfortable balancing big-picture thinking with day-to-day executionHighly organized and detail-orientedProactive and solution-focusedTeam-first mindset with a strong work ethicWhat This Role OwnsDay-to-day performance of field operationsTeam productivity, scheduling, and coordinationOperational systems (timekeeping, purchasing, reporting, logistics)Budget awareness and cost controlSafety compliance and overall execution in the fieldBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planWork Location: In personEagle Dynamic Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
