Interior Designer - Showroom Associate - Part Time

United Tile has a part-time Showroom Associate opening in our Portland location. The ability to provide our customers with a pleasant, calm, and professional atmosphere amidst several simultaneous tasks is paramount to this position. Specific job functions include the following: Work with customers, contractors and often with multiple customers at a time. Keep our products presented and merchandised in a creative, customer friendly system through various sampling and display efforts File and organize samples Successful candidates will have: Outgoing, friendly personality Customer Service oriented attitude Ability to manage time effectively and adapt quickly and smoothly to changing priorities Team player mentality, working productively and positively with wide range of people Self-directed, highly motivated work ethic Task oriented mentality Specific Skills / Knowledge required: Ability to multi-task and follow through Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office application, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel Education: Associates degree in Interior Design (preferred, but not required) Experience can be substituted for education Experience: At least one year of related experience preferred Work Schedule: The current schedule for this position is: Wednesday: 12:00pm-4pm Thursday, Friday: 9am-4pm About our Company: United Tile is an exceptional organization.
