Best in Business, and LinkedIn Top Startups.Our office locations require a hybrid presence (3 days per week) in either our downtown San Francisco or New York office.Your RoleAs a Marketing Operations Manager at Zip, you'll be the operational engine behind our top-of-funnel growth, owning the systems, data, and execution that power our marketing performance. Sitting at the intersection of growth, marketing, and RevOps, you'll bring clarity to chaos, structure to strategy, and scale to execution.Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, you'll serve as a trusted partner to the Marketing org, owning the core rhythms, infrastructure, and insights that drive pipeline generation and brand reach.What You'll DoAct as a right-hand partner to marketing leadership and campaign managers, solving problems, building scalable processes, and bringing structure to complex decisions.Own the day-to-day execution and hygiene of our marketing operations, from campaign set-up and lead routing to database management and performance audits.Design and maintain a best-in-class marketing tech stack — including automation (Marketo), enrichment, attribution, and routing workflows — that enables scalable, high-performing marketing programs.Own marketing data from source to boardroom. Define data structures, build dashboards, and run deep-dive analyses to surface insights that sharpen GTM execution.Work hand-in-hand with GTM Systems, Sales Ops, Growth, and Analytics Engineering to ensure marketing is fully integrated across the funnel.Lead cross-functional projects, from refining lead scoring and funnel stage definitions to implementing self-service campaign tooling or launching our CDP.Monitor martech and AI trends, surface what's next, and bring a POV on how we can level up tools, processes, reporting, and how we leverage AI.What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in marketing operations within high-growth B2B SaaS.Strong SQL skills, deep spreadsheet fluency, and an understanding of the difference between clean data and actionable insights.Deep fluency in Marketo (or equivalent); bonus points for experience with SFDC, LeanData, Clay, and other martech tools.Experience leading campaign execution and understanding audience segmentation, nurture design, and end-to-end lead flow.Strong opinions on funnel metrics, attribution, and lead scoring that are flexible enough to evolve.Ability to thrive across altitudes, from debugging automation rules to building dashboards to aligning executives on strategic priorities.Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments, thinking in trade-offs and prioritizing ruthlessly.Excellent communication skills, whether drafting internal memos or presenting to the CMO.Collaborative, low-ego approach; opinionated but flexible, able to align diverse teams.Scrappy, resourceful mindset; rejects the phrase "that's not possible."Salary range: $153,000–$190,000.Perks & BenefitsStart-up equityFull health, vision & dental coverageCatered lunches & dinners for NY/SF employeesCommuter benefitTeam building events & happy hoursFlexible PTOApple equipment plus home office budget401(k) planWe are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workspace where everyone—regardless of age, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and more—feels like they belong.
