Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support and maintain core infrastructure across virtual server environments, Windows workstations, storage, backup, and disaster recovery systems. This role will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining virtual servers; supporting the Windows desktop environment; and administering SAN storage, replication, backup, and recovery solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware, Veeam, SAN storage, and disaster recovery planning and execution.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain virtual servers in a VMware environmentSupport and troubleshoot the Windows workstation environmentAdminister and maintain SAN storage systemsManage local and remote data replication processesOversee backup operations and recovery procedures using VeeamMonitor system performance, availability, and capacity across infrastructure environmentsSupport disaster recovery readiness, testing, and executionTroubleshoot server, storage, backup, and workstation issues in a timely mannerPerform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenanceDocument infrastructure configurations, procedures, and recovery plansCollaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support business continuity and operational goalsExperience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar infrastructure roleStrong hands-on experience with VMware virtual environmentsExperience supporting Windows workstations and server environmentsKnowledge of SAN storage administrationExperience with local and remote replication technologiesHands-on experience with Veeam backup and recoveryFamiliarity with disaster recovery processes, planning, and testingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
