Job Description Job Title: GPS Dozer OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced GPS Dozer Operator to join our team for a major roadway expansion project in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating dozers equipped with Trimble GPS systems to perform precise fine grading and earthmoving tasks in a heavy civil construction environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate GPS-equipped dozers to perform fine grading and earthmoving tasks.Ensure precise execution of grading plans using Trimble GPS systems.Collaborate with project teams to meet construction deadlines and quality standards.Maintain equipment in optimal working condition and report any issues promptly.Essential Skills4+ years of experience operating Dozers or Excavators.Proficiency in GPS and Fine Grade operations.3+ years of experience in civil construction.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with heavy equipment operations in a civil construction setting.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills.Why Work Here?Join a large, reputable heavy highway civil contractor offering competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, life insurance, 401K with company match, and PTO. Candidates must be comfortable commuting to any of these locations.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of PROVDENCE FRG, VA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
