Clinic Practice SupervisorThis position coordinates plans and organizes the daily operations of front door under the direction of Clinic Practice Manager. This position is supervised by the Clinic Practice Manager. Duties and responsibilities include: Providing patient service duties that are welcoming, engaging and accessible Working as part of a team to meet the needs of the patient in a timely and thorough manner Managing the daily operations of the front office Coordinating the fee agreement process, insurance verification, and knowledgeable regarding various payer sources Providing supervision to admissions specialists Handling requests and inquiries whenever possible Handling customer questions, complaints and service problems politely and efficiently Serving as a backup to admissions staff Responsible for all tasks involved in closing and opening the front office Coordinating the maintenance of the following: adequate supplies and inventory for office functions, phone list, group list, room schedules and any other lists/forms required to maintain office scheduling and organized office functioning Seeking clinical intervention when necessary Knowledgeable regarding NorthCare's electronic record system, OHCA, NaviNet and Outlook public folders Returning phone calls promptly and checking and responding to email daily Qualifications include: A bachelor's degree preferred and 2 years of experience in management setting Good leadership skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, organization skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally with English speaking patients Proficiency in the MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills Ability to move about the facility freely and be able to sit for extended periods Must complete all NorthCare required training within 30 days of employment with NorthCare Must have TB test within 12 months prior to employment with NorthCare or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare
