We pride ourselves on our patient-centered approach and dedication to innovation in hepatology care through our Clinical Research Center.Role DescriptionThis is a Part-time with option of full-time in the future, on-site role for a Physician Assistant/NP at our facility in San Antonio, TX. The Physician Assistant/NP will collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat liver diseases and associated conditions. Daily tasks include conducting patient assessments, treatment, providing follow-up care, educating patients and families, and ensuring accurate medical documentation. The PA/NP will also be involved in supporting clinical research efforts and maintaining compliance with medical protocols.QualificationsProficiency in conducting medical assessments, clinical examinations, and patient evaluationsAbility to perform and assist with diagnostic and therapies related to liver careStrong communication skills for patient education, team collaboration, and documentationKnowledge of medical protocols, compliance standards, and evidence-based practicesActive Physician Assistant certification and Texas state licensureExperience in gastroenterology/hepatology is highly desirableExperience or desire to participate in Clinical trials
