MANTECH seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team in St Inigoes, MD. This is an onsite position.This position work on an integrated development team through all phases of the software development life cycle, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of fielded and future Navy combat identification systems and IFF interfaces.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToConducting innovative software development solutions for various Navy identification systemsExecuting scientific, engineering, and technical services required for the design, development, integration, and testing of combat systemsAnalyzing technology and capability gaps to research, develop, and deploy software solutionsCollaborating with other developers and project leads to design, optimize, and define associated deliverablesConducting integration, testing, bug fixes, and other software maintenance activities.Assisting in the creation of technical documentation and user guides in support of developed softwareMinimum QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field1+ years of experience in software developmentExperience programming in a Linux environmentExperience with C/C++ and JavaExperience working in an agile development environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience using Wireshark and Eclipse IDE for developmentExperience using SVN for source code configuration managementClearance RequirementsMust be a US Citizen and possess a current or active Secret Security ClearancePhysical RequirementsMust be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, computer printer, and copy machine.Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
