Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression. Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction while adhering to safety and social distancing protocols. Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and communicate wait times clearly. Maintain organized waiting lists and monitor guest flow to ensure timely seating and minimal wait times. Support food service staff by providing accurate guest counts and special requests, enhancing overall guest experience. Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host station area to promote a hygienic environment.
