Job Title Position Summary Serves as a lead technical expert in designing, implementing, and optimizing systems administration strategies for complex C2ISR Data Transport Infrastructure platforms. Provides support for global transport and dissemination systems, cloud infrastructure, operations and management systems, network infrastructure, and multiple network domains (Commercial, NIPR/CUI, SIPR, JWICS).Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGuides junior and journeyman administrators and contributes to platform evolution and capacity planning for mission-critical services.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Active TS/SCI security clearance requiredSenior level experience in systems administration supporting enterprise infrastructureMust complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.DoD 8140 role for WRC: 451; Element: IT; Work Role: System Administrator; Proficiency Level: IntermediateExperience administering Windows and Linux systems in classified and/or mission environmentsExperience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and enterprise services supporting global transport and dissemination systemsKnowledge of identity and access management (Active Directory/LDAP, RBAC), SSO/federation, and certificate management (PKI)Ability to implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and security controls (including STIG compliance) and perform root cause analysisScripting/automation experience to improve reliability and response (e.g., Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash)Desired Requirements:Experience with service management and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy)Experience with backup and disaster recovery platforms (Veeam, Commvault)Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar) and automated alerting/responseExperience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) and performance dashboardsExperience with configuration management databases (CMDB) and compliance/reporting documentationFamiliarity with endpoint security tools (e.g., McAfee, Symantec, CrowdStrike)Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
