Interim Senior HRBP, Front Office (4 months)Job Description:We are seeking a hands-on and dynamic HR Business Partner to provide coverage for our front-office Senior HRBP’s maternity leave. This individual will help us maintain our personnel infrastructure and strategy to support the growth of the business. The HR Business Partner will plan and lead all aspects of the organization’s employee & talent operations. The responsibilities below are across our global firm with offices in New York, Houston, Dallas, & Los Angeles. The ideal candidate should have a strong hands-on business partner background as the role spans tactical execution and strategic vision as a stand-alone leader with additional support from our HR team. About the position:The HRBP works closely with senior business leaders and their management teams in shaping and implementing business strategy and the HR people agenda. Responsible for building strong relationships within local business lines and global functions, the HRBP brings in-depth specialist knowledge in multiple HR areas of expertise, including compensation and employee relations. Participating in management team meetings, the HRBP coaches and builds the capabilities of business leaders and their management teams on the people strategy. The HRBP also provides them with global people solutions that will support the business strategy.Reporting to the Country Head of HR the HRBP is part of a team of HR professionals. ResponsibilitiesThe HRBP plays a strategic role in implementing global people solutions, developed by the HR experts, within the business lines or functions of a country they are responsible for. Key activities include, amongst others: partnering with business leaders and functional partners to design the business and people strategy and building strategic workforce plans.leading and supporting annual people processes, including annual compensation planning, performance reviews, succession planning, talent review, and driving employee engagement actionsdeveloping the leadership of the future using the local and global talent programsact as an ambassador of the diversity & inclusion-strategy.managing employee relations issues; conduct investigations, escalate issues, and liaise with legal counsel as appropriate.acting as a change agent and represents the voice of employees during business transformations.implementing significant change initiatives successfully and in accordance with local regulatory and global governance structuresQualifications and Competencies6+ years’ experience driving impact in a global organization; experience in financial services supporting front-office teams preferable.Strong business acumen, experience in financial services preferableStrong strategic focus and business acumen and an ability to translate the people vision into increased business performance.Affinity with numbers and data and a good understanding on how data analysis and reporting support building the people agenda.Demonstrated consultation skills to help the business in understanding their people needs and propose the right global solution to fit that need.Excellent interpersonal skills with a clear demonstration of influencing business leadersUnderstanding of local/regional employment legislation and regulationsMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Workday experience preferable
