We believe our experience, commitment to excellence and local heritage make Am-Gard the ideal partner to support our clients security and safety program.Job Skills / RequirementsThe Residential Gatehouse Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and controlled access of the residential community. This position serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, contractors, and deliveries while ensuring all community access procedures and security protocols are followed. Officers are expected to provide professional customer service while monitoring activity and responding to incidents in a calm and efficient manner.Job Responsibilities:Monitor and control vehicle and pedestrian access at the gatehouseVerify resident, guest, vendor, and contractor authorization before granting entryMaintain visitor logs and issue passes as requiredPatrol assigned areas of the neighborhood when necessaryObserve and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or violations of community rulesRespond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, or emergencies according to company proceduresCommunicate effectively with residents, management, law enforcement, and emergency servicesOperate security equipment including cameras, radios, gate systems, and access control softwareComplete accurate daily activity reports and incident reportsEnsure gatehouse remains clean, organized, and professional at all timesProvide courteous assistance and directions to residents and visitorsEnforce community access policies and security procedures consistently and professionallyThis job reports to the Operations ManagerThis is a Part-Time position3rd Shift, Weekends.
