Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to perform sleep studies and support patients throughout their care experience. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring patient safety and comfort.What’s Available.75 FTE (30 hours weekly), Part-time12-hour night shifts (630p-630a)Typical nights are Mondays, Tuesdays and WednesdaysLocation: On-site, La Crosse Main CampusDepartment: Sleep LabWhat You Will DoPerform overnight sleep studies (polysomnograms) and related testing to evaluate patient sleep disordersMonitor and record sleep data while ensuring accuracy and patient safetyEducate and support patients throughout testing proceduresAnalyze results and collaborate with providers and the care team to support patient careMaintain equipment, documentation, and compliance with safety and accreditation standardsWorking with ages 18 months to 100+ yearsWhat You Will GetCompetitive pay based on experienceComprehensive healthcare and retirement benefitsSupportive team environment with opportunities for continued learning and certificationThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health and quality of lifeWork/life balance in a mission-driven healthcare organizationWhat You NeedGraduate of an accredited Polysomnographic, Electro neurodiagnostic, or Respiratory Therapy program OR one year of on-the-job training in an AASM-accredited sleep labCertification as an RST and RPSGTCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)Emplify Health is comprised of two of the Midwest’s most respected healthcare systems, Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System.
