Service Sales Representative HVAC

We are a full-service distributor of Generac equipment and solutions providing sales, service and rentals.The Service Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting, selling, and renewing HVAC service contracts, and repair solutions. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying client needs, and providing tailored HVAC service solutions that generally promotes Energy Systems as the primary source for aftermarket parts and service of HVAC equipment.Roles and Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for HVAC service agreements and equipment upgrades.Selling new HVAC unit installationsDevelop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.Conduct site visits to assess equipment conditions and present service recommendations.Prepare and deliver professional proposals and presentations to decision-makers.Build and maintain long term relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.Provide timely follow up on proposals, contracts, and inquiries.Ensure smooth transition from sales to service delivery teams.Stay informed on HVAC products, services, and industry trends to effectively present solutions.Collaborate with technicians and engineers to create accurate service scopes and cost estimates.Understand competitor offerings and differentiate the company's value proposition.Meet or exceed sales quotas for service agreements and revenue targets.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM system.Prepare regular sales reporting for management.Other duties assignedMinimum Job RequirementsFour-year college degree or equivalent HVAC sales experience is required.1 year cold call via phone and in person1 year customer facing sales role that includes negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolutionKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesWell-developed sales and presentation skillsComputer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelStrong knowledge of HVAC equipmentBasic mechanical and technical aptitude including geometric and other mathematical formulasExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven interpersonal skills with both internal and external customersBasic marketing knowledgeMust be able to handle high pressure situations and adapt well to changes in the marketPreferred Job Requirements:5+ years college degree or equivalent HVAC sales experience is required.Preferred experience selling preventative maintenance contracts in the HVAC industryKnowledge of energy efficiency programs, rebates, and incentive offeringsEstablished customer network within the local commercial and industrial marketCompensation:Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary for this role is $71,800 - 107,000. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
