Property Accountant

Soni is partnering with a growing real estate organization to add a Staff Property Accountant to their team. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to full-cycle accounting across a property portfolio, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger responsibilities.Responsibilities:Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliationsProcess and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activitiesPrepare and review bank reconciliations and supporting schedulesAssist with tenant billing, cash applications, and AR agingAnalyze financial activity and investigate variancesMaintain accurate financial records across multiple entitiesSupport budgeting, audit preparation, and year-end processesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance2–4+ years of accounting experienceExperience in real estate or property accounting preferred Exposure to Yardi or similar accounting systems Strong Excel skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCompensation: $65-75KSalary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.#SONICNJ
