Job OverviewThe Day-Of Wedding Attendant is responsible for ensuring the wedding venue is fully prepared, clean, and operating smoothly on the day of the event. This role acts as on-site support for the couple and their coordinator while protecting the facility standards and ensuring all spaces remain organized and guest-ready.This position is designed to support, not lead. The attendant serves as a behind-the-scenes presence, assisting when needed while allowing the couple, vendors, and coordinator to execute their vision.ResponsibilitiesPre-Event ReadinessVerify the venue is clean, organized, and set according to the approved layout prior to guest arrivalCheck all tables, chairs, and furniture placements for accuracyEnsure key spaces (bridal suite, restrooms, ceremony area, reception space) are fully stocked and presentableIdentify and resolve any setup issues before the event beginsEvent SupportServe as the primary on-site venue representative during the eventAct as a quiet, professional presence supporting the bride, coordinator, and vendors as neededAssist with minor requests such as locating items, adjusting layouts, or resolving small issuesMaintain awareness of the event flow without interfering or taking controlFacility OversightMonitor cleanliness throughout the event, including restrooms, trash, and high-traffic areasAddress spills, trash buildup, and general upkeep in real timeEnsure all venue spaces remain organized and aligned with operational standardsVendor & Coordinator SupportProvide basic direction to vendors regarding venue logistics (access points, storage areas, etc.)Support the event coordinator as needed without assuming planning responsibilitiesCommunicate any concerns or issues to management when necessaryRequirementsAvailability to work weekends, evenings, and event-based schedules Previous hospitality, event, wedding, or customer service experience preferred Professional, calm, and solution-oriented under pressure Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and anticipate event needs Excellent communication and guest service skills Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment Comfortable supporting vendors, coordinators, and guests professionally Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 30 pounds Reliable transportation and strong punctuality required Positive attitude, professionalism, and team-oriented mindset
