Director of Sales and Business Development Salary: $165,000.00We have partnered with a large wholesaler in the Northeastern US area to provide them with a Director of Sales and Business Development. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.Prioritized Must Have Skills: Extensive experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving targets.Ability to manage a large group of territory managers.Ability to travelNo more than 3 jobs in the past 10 yearsResponsibilities: Develop and execute the sales strategy for assigned territories to drive revenue growth and market expansionLead, coach, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance expectationsEstablish accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance against targetsDrive accountability and continuous improvement through performance management and metrics trackingBuild and maintain strong customer relationships, with a focus on long-term partnership and customer satisfactionCollaborate cross-functionally with corporate functions and distribution or operational groups to ensure customer satisfactionIdentify and implement programs, tools, and processes to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiencyAnalyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategyEnsure consistent execution of company initiatives and sales processes across the sales teamRequirements: Bachelor's degree in business, prefer MBAExtensive experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving targetsStrong people leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teamsIndustry experience in distribution or related sectors preferredDemonstrated ability to build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholdersStrategic thinker with strong execution capabilitiesExcellent communication, analytical, and organizational skillsExperience working with or competing against major industry playersBackground managing a large group of territory managers.Other Key Requirements: Significant travel is expectedNo Sponsorship and Visa accepted.
