Job SummaryWe are seeking a Behavioral Health Dietitian (Full-Time) to join our nutrition team at a Behavioral Health Facility located on the Rutgers Campus. This Registered Dietitian will manage all nutrition care for our patients in our 60-bed facility. The dietitian will teach nutrition education group classes, attend interdisciplinary meetings and counsel outpatient day school children as needed. This position will also assist with tray line operations and reviewing menus in our small operation. $5000 Sign On Bonus Key Responsibilities: Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population Create and present monthly nutrition education to day school students Review patient menus and diet orders daily for compliance Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs Qualifications: Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required. RD Eligible Welcome.
