Inc.Position SummaryBusek is seeking a Test Engineer to support the panel production line, which is the highest-priority (P0) Manufacturing hire. This role is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Electrical Acceptance Test (EAT) capability required for production-rate testing of flight model panels. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing test procedures, test software, and ground support equipment for electrical system validation in a production environment.The position is critical to maintaining throughput of 1 panel per day with approximately 16 units in WIP, requiring at least one dedicated engineer for Electrical Test.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, write, and maintain a production-ready Electrical Acceptance Test (EAT) procedure and associated test software for panel-level testingDefine, design, and support required GSE (test racks, harnesses, safety equipment, workstations, etc.) for Electrical Acceptance TestServe as the first point of contact for all NCRs encountered during Acceptance Test of flight model unitsImplement and manage modifications, updates, and upgrades to the test system as production evolvesTroubleshoot electrical and test system issues in coordination with manufacturing, electrical, and systems engineeringDocument test results and generate formal acceptance test reportsSupport test readiness activities and ensure consistent, repeatable execution of production-line electrical testsProvide a test engineering skill set transferable to other production product linesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience developing and executing electrical test proceduresFamiliarity with production-line testing, electrical acceptance testing, or system-level electrical verificationAbility to design or support test racks, harnessing, fixtures, and instrumentationStrong troubleshooting capability with electrical systems and test equipmentProficiency in writing technical documentation and test reportsComfortable working in a production, lab, or test-floor environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability hardwareExperience with test automation or scripting tools (Python, LabVIEW, or similar)Familiarity with requirements verification, NCR processes, and root-cause analysisPrior work with acceptance testing of integrated electrical or panel-level systemsBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement savings plan (401k)Professional development opportunitiesCollaborative and innovative work environmentWhat We OfferDirect involvement in building and testing flight hardwareOpportunity to establish and own the electrical acceptance test capability for a key production programCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageITAR ComplianceEmployment at Busek requires compliance with U.S. Government space technology export regulations (ITAR).
