Learn more about this agency Help DutiesYou will serve as the principal advisor to senior managers on the development, implementation and, revision of financial management policies, plans, and programs.You will facilitate the effective, efficient, and timely application of financial resources to achieve the mission of the organization.You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.You will formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities.You will review and evaluate budget requests; control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.You will generate, recommend, and implement new and revised financial managementconcepts, internal controls, methodologies, policies, and strategies in support of the organization’s programs. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
