About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Data Center Network Engineer to join our Phoenix team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the administration and stability of our data center network infrastructure while also dedicating a portion of your time to helpdesk support and serving as the escalation point for complex or difficult issues the helpdesk cannot resolve. As Radius-DC continues to expand across the continental U.S., you’ll play a hands-on role in the design and deployment of networks at new market locations. You’ll operate within a SOC 2 Type 2 compliant environment, so a security-first mindset is essential. This role requires proximity to our Phoenix facility and involves regular travel throughout the continental U.S.
Salary range: $100,000-$120,000 per year based on background and skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain data center network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
Travel to new and existing Radius-DC markets across the continental U.S. to lead or assist in network buildouts and deployments
Partner with project and facilities teams to plan and execute network infrastructure for new market launches
Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations
Provide helpdesk support on a periodic basis, handling tickets related to network connectivity, access, and infrastructure
Serve as the escalation point for complex or unresolved helpdesk issues, providing Tier 2/3 troubleshooting and resolution
Perform routine maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patching of network devices
Document network topology, configurations, and change management procedures
Collaborate with systems, security, and cloud teams on infrastructure projects; support ongoing SOC 2 compliance requirements
Participate in on-call rotation for critical network incidents
Assist in capacity planning and hardware lifecycle management
Adhere to Radius-DC’s security and acceptable use policies, including annual security awareness training
