Registered Dental Hygienist

Solon Family Dentists is seeking a full-time or part-time dental hygienist who is highly skilled, friendly, self-motivated, and passionate about providing high-quality care to patients. We allot ample appointment times, provide scrubs and have instruments professionally sharpened.ResponsibilitiesUpdate patient health histories and record blood pressure readingsMaintain and update dental charts to reflect current patient conditionsObtain and review radiographs, intraoral images, and Itero scans as neededScreen periodontal health, including probe depths, recession, and mobility; document and communicate findingsAssess caries risk and recommend preventive care measuresConduct oral cancer screeningsIdentify potential dental issues such as failing restorations, decay, or open contactsEducate patients on proper oral hygiene and the effects of malocclusion on dental healthProvide dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatmentsApply fluoride treatments and place dental sealantsCollaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plansSchedule future continuing care appointments for patientsAssist with cleanup and setup of treatment rooms when availableSupport other practice areas as needed Preferred QualificationsActive Ohio Dental Hygiene LicenseCurrent CPR certificationProficiency with digital radiography and periodontal screeningExcellent patient communication skillsFamiliarity with Dentrix software and iTero scannerStrong oral health education and time management abilitiesBenefits:Medical, Dental, 401k, PTOCompensation:$36-$45/hour
