Office Manager

DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and organized Office Manager to join our client's team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and has extensive experience in automotive dealership operations, accounting, and human resources management. You will oversee critical administrative functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with industry standards.Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.- Manage human resources tasks, including onboarding new employees, maintaining accurate personnel records, and addressing HR-related inquiries.- Coordinate effective communication across departments, ensuring timely updates on scheduling and operational adjustments.- Supervise dealership accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.- Prepare and analyze financial reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to support decision-making.- Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and applicable regulations.- Monitor and manage cash flow, reconciliations, and internal controls to maintain financial accuracy.- Maintain accurate documentation for sales, service, and F& I transactions, ensuring transparency and reliability.Requirements- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Office Manager or Controller within an automotive dealership.- Proven expertise in human resources processes, including onboarding, employee development, and relations.- Strong knowledge of dealership accounting practices, including AP/AR and general ledger management.- Familiarity with ADP Payroll systems is preferred but not required.- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.- Effective communication abilities to facilitate collaboration across departments.- Proficiency in account reconciliation and monitoring financial processes.- Knowledge is CDK software is required.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
