Growing together.The Senior Architecture Analyst will assess existing applications, platforms, and integrations for scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency. Perform impact analysis for proposed changes across applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations. Support technology selection by analyzing vendor solutions, platforms, and tools against architectural requirements. Contribute to build-versus-buy and modernization recommendations (e.g., cloud migration, platform consolidation).You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Design and document technical architectures that align with enterprise standards and business goalsConduct architectural reviews and assessments to ensure scalability, security, and performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to guide technical implementationIdentify opportunities for technology optimization and innovation within existing systemsManage and maintain architectural artifacts and repositoriesProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architecture analystsAnalyze complex business requirements and translate them into actionable technical blueprintsDesign, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AIYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP)5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience (SDLC) and Agile methodologies3+ years of experience in application, data, integration, and infrastructure architecture concepts2+ years of technical experience in leadership (senior level mentoring acceptable)2+ years of proven experience with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and modeling toolsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or equivalent enterprise platformsExperience with Java, React and TypescriptExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersRelevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)Experience working within the healthcare industry or a similarly regulated environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on strategic thinking*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
