Dental Assistant (Bilingual, Spanish)

Dental AssistantWe are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dentist and hygienist in providing high quality and compassionate care to all patients.This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.Pay range: $15-$20/hrJob ResponsibilitiesCollect and document clear, concise, and accurate patient recordsObtain quality dental radiographs (periapicals, bitewings, panoramic) as requested by the dentistWrite accurate and consistent notes, ensuring chart notes match services completedCreate a friendly relationship with patients and parents as well as educating them on good oral healthOrganize and sterilizing dental instruments and workstations per OSHA standardsEnsure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved childrenJob QualificationsRadiology education and training that meets state requirementsStrong interpersonal skills, including a friendly outgoing demeanor and the ability to actively listen to patients and parentsAbility to multi-task and complete dental tasks correctly and in a timely mannerKnowledge of e-Clinical Works (eCW) a plusPrevious experience working in a dental office preferredCurrent BLS CPR certificationIn addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.
