Warehouse Associate$19-$21/hr As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads safely within a warehouse environment. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the crane's maintenance, tracking inventory, and loading trucks with structural steel beams according to order sheets. Responsibilities Operate an overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads safely. Ensure loads are securely attached and within lifting limits. Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the crane. Track inventory in your designated bay. Load trucks with structural steel beams based on order sheets. Essential Skills Experience in a warehouse environment and equipment operation. Material handling and order picking skills. Proficiency in operating forklifts or electric pallet jacks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in operating an overhead crane is highly desirable. Experience with other heavy equipment is advantageous. 6+ months experience in operating a forklift (sit-down, stand-up, or high reach). 6+ months experience in operating heavy equipment. 6+ months of general warehouse experience. Work Environment The warehouse is not temperature-controlled but maintains a clean environment for a metal distribution center. Temperatures inside reflect outside conditions due to frequent truck activity. Shifts are available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with teams of 2-3 people. Dress code includes toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
