AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking Advanced Practice Providers to join our Team in Ocala, Florida!GENERAL SUMMARYThe APP, under the supervision of the Physicians is responsible for:Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric through geriatric patients, including women s healthOrders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditionsMonitors the patient s course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as neededCollaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staffDisplays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growthKnowledge and Skills Required:Enthusiastic team playerStrong medical decision-making and communication skillsWillingness to learnFlexible, adaptable to changeMust demonstrate excellence in patient focused medical care & delivery of careEducation and Experience Required:Master s degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant studiesMinimum of 1-2 years of clinical practice experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferredExperience treating patients of all ages and a variety of acute & chronic conditions is highly preferredLicensure, Certification, and Registration:Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C licenseCurrent, valid DEA licenseANCC, AANP or NCCPA (or equivalent) certificationCurrent BLS required; ACLS preferredSchedule/Benefit Details:4- or 5-day schedule, depending on practice location$15,000 Sign On BonusMinimal callHoliday rotationTransition to practice program benefit; clinical mentorshipHealthcare benefits from day one, including medical, vision, and dental for you and your family, retirement, malpractice, paid parental leaveAdventHealth Primary Care Network consists of 350+ providers throughout central Florida in the Orlando, Tampa, Daytona Beach, and Ocala areas.
