Lead Control Panel Tech Bridgeville, PAType: Direct Hire Compensation: $58,240.00 Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance: not specified in the descriptionResponsibilitiesAssemble and wire electrical control panels following project specifications and electrical schematics. Install electrical components such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, PLCs, HMIs, and other devices into control panels. Inspect wiring and components for accuracy and compliance with industry standards, ensuring proper connections and safety codes. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during the assembly stages of the control panels. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure control panels meet design specifications and project requirements. Guide and support less experienced technicians by sharing knowledge and reinforcing best practices. Maintain accurate documentation of wiring configurations, components used, and modifications made during assembly. Follow all electrical safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe work environment. Keep workstations, tools, and equipment organized, clean, and in good condition. RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or training in electrical systems or control panel wiring preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in control panel assembly, wiring, or related field. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques, and safety protocols. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments. Experience installing and wiring PLCs and HMIs. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and accuracy when assembling and wiring control panels.
