Family and Youth Advocate
We are seeking a Full-Time Advocate to support youth and families throughout Ontario County. This role involves building meaningful relationships and providing hands-on advocacy services by planning, organizing, and delivering individualized support to help families thrive.
Status: Full Time Hourly
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Salary: $ 42,000-43,680
Summary of the Position: Hourly, Full Time position serving youth and families throughout Ontario County are available.
Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.
The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.
Availability: Flexible Hours - Non-Traditional Work Hours - Evenings and Weekends may be needed!
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 is a plus. Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) System is a plus.
Ability to work flexible schedule, some evenings and weekends may be required.
Ability to work non-traditional hours.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
