Prototype Development Engineer Location: Boulder, COJob DescriptionPrototype Engineering and creation Prototype process definition for small build quantitiesInitially support lead DE in hands-on fabrication tasksPrepare materials and assemble components for production lineLoad and unload WIP from toolsLoad and unload tools from machinesOperation of specialized machinery that requires manual skills (ie. sewing machine)Provide process and tooling improvement feedback to DERequired QualificationsDesigner or maker with prior hands-on fabrication experience.Knowledge of textiles, films, synthetics, leather, adhesives,etc.Team-oriented individual who is willing to contribute beyond defined responsibilities.BS in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design preferred
