PurposeTo provide support by helping with stewardship, providing social media assistance at outreach events, strategizing swag for outreach events, and assisting with coordination for development events and engagement activities. This role helps raise visibility of department research and academic activities.
ResponsibilitiesDraft, design, and prepare stewardship materials including thank you notes.
Update UT Austin development database.
Provide social media assistance at outreach events such as Industry Open House.
Inventory and assistance in strategizing swag for engagement activities.
Industry engagement research
Other event or administrative duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skills.
Interest in event promotion, event coordination, or communications.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong, independent, and collaborative work ethic.
Current UT Austin student, enrolled/registered with fees paid for the current semester and in good academic standing.
Financial aid work-study recipient.
Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with UT Austin's communication channels and event spaces.
Salary Range$15.00 Hourly
Working ConditionsMay work around standard office conditions
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation

Light lifting and moving
Work ShiftMust be available to work 10-15 hours per week.
Flexible work hours between Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, based on students' class schedule.
