Title: Manager of Employment ServicesClassification: Full-Time; 37.5 hours per week (M – F 8:30a-5:00p; some nights and weekends)Pay Rate: $24.72/hrSummaryUnder the supervision of the Director of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Services, the Manager of Employment Services is responsible for the development and operation of employment services. The manager supervises all staff and their training and development, in supportive employment through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and Adult Career & Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCESS-VR).Essential Job DutiesWork in collaboration with the leadership team and staff on implementation of staff action plans.Complete monthly summary reports and assessments for individuals utilizing the service.Review and update staff action plans to meet regulatory body guidelines at least twice yearly or as requested by the staff member, and evaluate the effectiveness of staff action plans.Complete and maintain all records in accordance with the standards of regulatory agencies governing the operation of the agency.Meet with supervisory team on a regular basis for exchange of information, brainstorming, and problem-solving.Participate in the team decision-making process and carry out decisions consistently.Present a polite, positive, and professional public image with all people in daily interactions. Adhere to all policies and procedures while serving as a role model for other program staff.Maintain confidentiality of all protected health information in accordance with policies/procedures.Other Job DutiesParticipate in quality and fiscal program audits, implementing recommendations, as needed. Achieve program and department goals by performing other responsibilities as required. Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skill And AbilitiesAbility to supervise a diverse workforce.Ability to develop reports, accurately audit records, and ensure compliance.Collect and analyze data and apply results to program design and implementation.Communicate effectively both verbally and in written formats. Proficient in executing compliance-related functions and ensuring adherence to regulations.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Proficient in computer applications, with a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Demonstrate leadership and cultural competence and the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations, including employees, vendors, clients, visitors, and outside agencies.Contribute to a creative, collaborative, and respectful environment that promotes teamwork and a community-centered mindset.Demonstrate commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and adherence to company policies and procedures in all professional interactions and handling of sensitive information.Physical Elements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
