We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team at a large, professionally managed multifamily community in Galveston, Texas. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, providing exceptional resident experiences, and supporting daily leasing and administrative operations for a 459-unit property. The ideal candidate is highly organized, sales-driven, and passionate about delivering outstanding service.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet, tour, and qualify prospective residents in a professional and welcoming mannerEffectively present apartment homes, amenities, and community features to close leases and meet occupancy goalsManage inbound calls, online inquiries, and walk-in traffic promptly and professionallyProcess rental applications, verifications, and lease documentation accuratelyMaintain knowledge of pricing, availability, and market trends to maximize leasing successEnsure model units, common areas, and tour routes are clean, organized, and show-readyProvide excellent customer service to current residents and assist with renewal effortsSupport community marketing initiatives, outreach events, and online reputation managementMaintain accurate records in property management software and follow company compliance standardsCollaborate with maintenance and management teams to ensure a positive resident experienceQualificationsPrevious leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred (multifamily experience strongly preferred)Strong communication, interpersonal, and closing skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentProficiency with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, or similar) and Microsoft OfficeProfessional appearance and positive attitudeAvailability to work weekends as neededCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay plus leasing commissionsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOngoing training and career growth opportunitiesSupportive and team-oriented work environment
