Residential Manager (DD)

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the program and service needs of the individuals are met, that the residence runs in a smooth, consistent manner through the supervision of residential staff, and that the environment is clean and comfortable for the individuals. The Residential Manager must be able to work independently and be able to fill in for staff, as well as be able to work closely with the Program Coordinator. Must possess the skill and ability to develop cooperative, coordinated working relationships with others. Must have decision-making skills and the ability to work independently and follow established programs and procedures. A high school diploma or General Education Development diploma (GED) is preferred. Prefer two years of experience in the field of disabilities, and preference is given to those with additional experience and/or a four-year degree in a related human services field. Must become DD certified within 18 months of hire. This position has a six-month introductory period.
