Experienced/Lateral - Accounting AnalystA dynamic NYC-based trading firm is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join its growing accounting team. Responsibilities will primarily include, though are not limited to, the following: Bookkeeping Management of accounts payable and receivable Assisting with monitoring and maintaining appropriate financial controls, policies and procedures to support existing operations and continued growth Maintaining accounting filing system Budgeting and statement reconciliation Reconciling monthly expenses Assisting with annual audit, monthly close and reporting packages Internal reporting support Reviewing and improving internal processes Ad-hoc report preparations and projects Organization, superior attention to detail, and ability to multitask are required. Ability to think quickly and work in a high-pressure environment are a must. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Relevant experience is a plus, but not required. Strong ability to work with spreadsheets and databases, knowledge of accounting software, and general computer literacy are required. Annual Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000. Base salary does not include discretionary bonus, if eligible, or benefits. Please note that this position is based on site in our Financial District office.
