Interior Designer
Ronen Lev is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our studio. We are looking for someone with a strong, intuitive aesthetic aligned with our approach. Someone who understands restraint, materiality, and the importance of thoughtful, well-edited design.The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing many hats. This is a role for someone who can work with autonomy, take initiative, and contribute meaningfully across all phases of a project. Our ideal candidate should be located in New York City and should be able to travel to our projects the Hamptons and other locations outside of the city where they will attend client meetings and act as the project manager.Our work spans residential and boutique hospitality projects across the U.S., often involving large-scale renovations. We collaborate closely with a select group of thoughtful and interesting clients, and are looking for designers who are excited to be part of that process.About Ronen LevRonen Lev is a boutique design practice with a strong architectural foundation. We offer flexibility with remote work and a lighter summer schedule.Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior Designer, you will be involved in all aspects of project development, from early concept through installation. You will work closely with the principals and senior team members, with meaningful exposure to both creative and technical aspects of the work.Responsibilities include:produce floor plans and elevations based on Ronen Lev’s drawing standardsproduce design documents including DD, CD sets, and schedules from Schematic Design to Installationprepare detailed interior elevations, millwork and custom furniture detailingcreate presentations with materials, sketches, plans and renderingscreate and keep track of project budget and timeline dailycorrespond directly with clients, external consultants and suppliersmanage daily multiple projects simultaneously from schematic design to construction & installation phasesAttend site meetingsQualificationsBArch, MArch or equivalent design degree3 + years of experience working in an architecture or design firm required. This is not an entry level position.MUST have strong drafting experience in Autocad.Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Design Suite and any 3D software3D Studio Max & Vray or Rhino proficiency is a plus.Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detailExcellent communication skills and high proficiency in EnglishAbility to travel out of NY state for project visitsPlease includeCV, Portfolio should include construction drawings with interior elevations, millwork and custom furniture detailing, Portfolio should include rendering and presentation style.
