Lead Quality Assurance Analyst (Healthcare Systems)Location: Columbia, SC (100% onsite)Position Type: ContractOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Analyst to support large-scale healthcare technology initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. This role will focus on system testing, quality assurance, automation, and process improvement across mission-critical applications and integrations.The ideal candidate has strong experience in QA methodologies, healthcare systems, automation testing, and enterprise application testing and thrives in fast-paced, change-oriented environments.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & TestingDevelop and execute:Test plansTest cases and test scenariosQA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processesPerform:Smoke testingSystem Integration Testing (SIT)End-to-End (E2E) testingRegression testingNegative and usability testingAutomation & Technical TestingDesign and develop automated test scripts using approved automation frameworksSupport automation initiatives and continuous testing practicesValidate system reliability, stability, and performanceDefect & Quality ManagementTrack, manage, and report defects through resolutionMaintain testing documentation, issue logs, and quality metricsCollaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues efficientlyGovernance & Best PracticesEnsure compliance with QA governance standards and testing best practicesParticipate in reviews, walkthroughs, and inspectionsProvide oversight and review of vendor testing deliverablesCollaboration & CommunicationWork closely with architects, developers, business teams, and leadershipCommunicate testing outcomes, risks, and recommendations clearlyProvide regular status reporting and escalation management as neededRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control5+ years translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios3+ years of experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or similar toolsStrong understanding of formal test design techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working within structured SDLC environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with large enterprise or e-business systemsHealthcare or Medicaid systems experienceKnowledge of HIPAA EDI transactions and X12 standardsExperience with Jira and ConfluenceExperience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environmentsEducationBachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare-related field(or equivalent combination of experience and education)Ideal CandidateDetail-oriented and process-drivenStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable leading QA efforts across multiple projectsAble to collaborate effectively with technical and business teamsPassionate about improving quality and system reliabilityWork EnvironmentCollaborative enterprise healthcare environmentOpportunity to support large-scale modernization and transformation initiativesBusiness casual work environment
