Patient Service Technician
The Patient Services Technician performs customer service related functions related to pharmacy services, including contacting patients/clients for delivery scheduling purposes, related recordkeeping, and assisting pharmacy clinicians. Essential Job Duties:Contact patients, nurses, and/or physician offices to schedule pharmacy deliveriesNotify appropriate Pentec personnel of changes to patient/client status, individual requests, and urgent needs of the patient.Documents all communications and related changes as necessary within the patient's electronic medical record and maintains scheduling data to assure routine deliveries for patients and nursesExecutes data entry functions related to prescription refills, including scanning documents, printing labels, and creating delivery tickets.*Other job duties and special projects as assigned.Ideal Candidate Will Have:High School graduate or equivalentMust be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, the ability to work in teams, high attention to detail, organizational and time management skills, and be dependable in attendance and job performancePrevious experience with pharmacy or medical record keeping preferred.
