Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other medical imaging techniques, in a fast-paced environment such as a Level I Trauma Center. The Radiologic Technologist will ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality images to assist in accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, sonography, and nuclear medicine.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide insights.
Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of human physiology.
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or emergency room setting is preferred.
Knowledge of various imaging modalities, including sonography and nuclear medicine, is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while providing excellent patient care.

Pay: $45.10 - $55.00 per hour
