Position SummaryMultiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the College of Science STEM Grants.Start DatePositions available on or after February 9, 2025 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.Job Description/DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:Assist with delivery of support services offered through the grant, assist with data input, support workshops offered through the grant.Offer peer to peer guidance and support to STEM transfer students.Visit local community colleges and facilitate workshops and outreach activities.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrates great communication and leadership skills.Maintains at least 3.0 overall GPA.A Math and/or a Science student.Transfer student from community college preferred.Required Qualifications:Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.Salary Range$16.90 per hour.How to ApplyTo be considered, qualified candidates must submit a completed Stanislaus State online employment application and resumé.
