Facilities Maintenance Technician

Leads will oversee, direct, and work with the facilities maintenance team on a daily basis, including scheduling and working with the team to complete all projects, maintenance request, and repairs in a timely manner.Roles & ResponsibilitiesMaintains a high level of customer service to all entities within the companyRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is requiredInstalls drywall, laminate, concrete, and other materialsConstructs walls, finishes, and trimCleaning and painting of interior and exterior production spacesInstalls and repairs plumbing, vacuum lines, air linesMaintains facility grounds, using landscaping equipment, including but not limited to seasonal salting/sanding and snow removal of walkways and parking lotsOrders materials and tooling as neededHardware installation such as door handles, hinges, locks, etc., as well as assembling and moving furnitureAbility to operate equipment aerial lifts, forklifts, backhoes etc.Ability work on scissor and boom lifts that extend to a height of 30'Adheres to JI Safety, HazMat, and JI PoliciesWorks well both independently, and with othersMust work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlinesMust be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.BASIC QUALIFIATIONSHigh school diploma or G.E.D. requiredPrevious experience in general facility maintenance or constructionMust have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English languageDue to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.Preferred QualificationsTwo-year technical certificate or degree preferredPrevious experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredDETAILED WAGE INFORMATIONWage range for this role is between $20 - $46 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role.
