As a BHT/BHC, you are essential to creating stability, reinforcing treatment goals, and supporting youth through their recovery journey.Position OverviewThe Behavioral Health Technician / Behavioral Health Counselor provides direct supervision, therapeutic support, and daily structure to adolescent residents. This role focuses on maintaining a safe and recovery-oriented milieu while supporting clinical programming and daily living activities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise adolescent residents and support daily routines and structured activitiesMaintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic residential environmentObserve, document, and report client behaviors and incidents accuratelyAssist with daily living needs including hygiene, meals, and health monitoringConduct drug screenings in accordance with program protocolsParticipate in therapeutic and recreational programmingCollaborate closely with clinical, medical, and leadership teamsMaintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and respectful communicationUphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards within the residencePerform additional duties as needed to support client care and program operationsQualifications & RequirementsMinimum of 6 months of experience in behavioral health (1–2 years preferred)High school diploma or GED requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageExperience working with adolescents in residential or care-based settings preferredStrong communication and documentation skillsMust pass required background checksPossess or be eligible for a Level One Fingerprint Clearance CardReady to Apply?If you’re passionate about making a difference in adolescent residential behavioral health and value structure, teamwork, and consistency, we encourage you to apply.
