Collections Operations Analyst – Reporting & Insights (Power BI + SQL Expert)- *This is a Hybrid role working in either our Norfolk, VA -or- Charlotte, NC officeSummary: Are you a data-driven problem solver who thrives on building dashboards and turning insights into action? PRA Group is hiring a Collections Operations Analyst to join our Agency Management team – a function that works closely with senior leaders and third-party collection agencies to drive strategy, performance, and results across the collections space.This isn’t just another reporting job. You’ll own the entire reporting lifecycle, from writing SQL queries and building dashboards in Power BI, to forecasting performance and uncovering insights that help drive collections strategy and agency performance.Important: To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.What We’re Looking For:3+ years of experience in collections, recovery management, or related financial operationsAdvanced Power BI and SQL skills—able to build dashboards and data models from scratchStrong understanding of collections metrics, inventory flow, and performance leversBackground in agency management, workforce planning, or credit operations is a plusComfortable working independently and engaging with senior leadershipDetail-oriented, resourceful, and energized by process improvement and performance analytics.What You'll Be Doing;Designing and building dashboards in Power BI from scratchWriting advanced SQL queries to extract, clean, and model dataForecasting performance, inventory flow, and resource needs across collections portfoliosAnalyzing operational trends and recommending improvements in agency performancePartnering with senior leadership and third-party agencies on collections strategyAutomating reporting and creating scalable analytics toolsPresenting insights and training teams on new reporting tools.Sound like you?
