Job Title: Angular/Node.js Full Stack Developer (Junior)Duration: 12 months+ (possible extension for multiple years)Location: Linthicum, MD, 21090 Position Description:The Computer Programmer (Junior) shall translate detailed program flowcharts into program-coded instructions used by third- and fourth-generation, or current state-of-the-art, computers.Looking for a talented and detail-oriented full-stack developer with experience in Angular, Node.js, and PostgreSQL to join our operations team. Will be responsible for maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications, working across the full development stack—from user interfaces to API services and databasesManage and perform/coordinate corrections to individual production data issues identified by users and development teams to facilitate integrity of data and system processing.Maintain responsive front-end interfaces using Angular (v12 or newer) and TypeScriptOptimize RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.jsManage database schemas, queries, and procedures in PostgreSQLEnsure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and application performanceWrite clean, well-documented, and testable codeTroubleshoot bugs, optimize performance, and ensure the application meets quality standardsParticipate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and release planningIntegrate third-party services and APIs as neededEducation: This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.General Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least three (3) years of computer programming experience.Strong hands-on experience with Angular, Node.js and PostgreSQLGood understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principlesExperience with REST API development and integrationFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD tools and Agile development practicesStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a distributed teamAttention to detail and strong sense of ownershipSpecialized ExperienceFamiliarity with Docker, Cloud Platforms (AWS) and DevOps conceptsExposure to authentication/authorization mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth2Knowledge of frontend state management tools (e.g., NgRx)Basic understanding of performance optimization and database indexing
