This position will oversee the daily operations of the Athletics Compliance office.WHAT MAKES GSU A GREAT PLACE?Generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, tuition assistance, retirement, etc.A knowledge-sharing organization that works collaboratively with diverse partners.Professional development opportunities and mentorship.A rapidly growing center within an academic setting.What Will You DoThe Associate Athletic Director will serve as the primary Compliance Officer for Georgia State University Athletics.Duties And Responsibilities IncludeReview and approve all student-athlete name, image and likeness (NIL) transactions via the recently established NILGO platform.Approve all student-athletes' profiles within this platform. Manage the CAPS LBi software, which requires adding student-athletes for all 16 of GSU athletics' sport teams. Manager rosters. Input scholarship and financial data.Add and approve all revenue share agreements.Coordinate with all athletic programs and their scholarship assignment and limitations.Monitor the over 250 plus student-athletes that are on financial aid and ensure the scholarship budget is correct with the Associate Athletic Director - Business Finance. Certify initial eligibility of all student athletes - liaison with NCAA Cleaninghouse and other units within Georgia State University (Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, etc.).Determine transfer eligibility. Monitor continuing eligibility - determines satisfactory progress and degree completion requirements, reviews orator reports, and runs yearly eligibility reports. Oversee all aspects of compliance concerning NCAA rules and regulations: Interpretations, monitoring recruitment of student-athletes by coaches, and competition requirements. Oversee APR, GSR, and NCAA reports as required. Oversee the Special Talent Committee. Oversee educational presentations to coaches, parents, donors, and prospects regarding eligibility and agent issues. Hire, train, and supervise compliance staff members and graduate/student assistants.
