Project Engineer (Power Generation)

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a role focused on Power Generation projects. This role will support a variety of projects related to power stations, roadways, landfills, renewable energy initiatives, and abandoned mine land reclamation projects across Kentucky and surrounding states. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and a passion for delivering innovative solutions in the power generation industry.ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support for power generation projects, including design, development, and implementation phases.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects related to power stations, roadways, landfills, renewable energy, and mine land reclamation.Conduct site visits to project locations across Kentucky and surrounding states, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.Prepare technical reports, design documents, and project plans.Oversee project progress, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to coordinate project activities.Identify and mitigate potential project risks and provide solutions to complex engineering challenges.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering is required.Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is required.Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience, preferably in the power generation industry.Experience working on projects related to power stations, renewable energy, landfills, and infrastructure is highly desirable.Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed, primarily within the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.Project Engineer (Power Generation) - 26-00291
