With more than four million customers and backing from leading investors, the organization maintains a strong commitment to respect, dignity, and an inclusive workplace culture.About the OpportunityThe Model Process Manager oversees and improves end-to-end processes supporting model development and deployment across business functions. This role promotes consistency, accountability, and efficiency throughout the model lifecycle, helping improve the quality and speed of credit decision-making. The position focuses on mapping existing processes, identifying gaps, improving visibility, and implementing sustainable solutions that reduce coordination overhead and prevent rework.Responsibilities• Own and maintain the process playbook for model development, credit policy updates, and approval workflows across business verticals.• Maintain a centralized view of models currently in development and track progress throughout the lifecycle.• Document ownership and handoffs across development and deployment stages to establish clear accountability.• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and sources of rework and implement improvements to address root causes.• Establish clear workflows, status tracking, and communication practices across technical and non-technical teams.• Serve as an operational point of contact for second-line credit and model risk management oversight.• Coordinate escalations and ensure appropriate issues are communicated to leadership.• Monitor process effectiveness and continuously improve model development operations.Requirements• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement, project coordination, or program operations within financial services, fintech, or data-intensive environments.• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders, including data scientists, as well as non-technical partners such as compliance professionals.• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate ownership, status, risks, and next steps.• Proven ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable process improvements.• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and stakeholders.• Experience appropriately managing escalations and communicating issues to leadership.Pay Range and Compensation Package• Annual full-time starting base salary range of $81,000–$95,000.• Eligibility for additional compensation through annual incentive and equity programs.• Compensation is determined based on experience, education, certifications, skills, competencies, and other relevant factors.Benefits & Perks• Paid time off.• 401(k) match.• Monthly wellness stipend.• Health, dental, and vision insurance options.• Disability coverage.• Paid parental leave.• Flexible spending accounts for childcare and healthcare.• Life insurance.• Remote-first work environment.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
