As a small, customer-centric, and fun-loving ballroom dance studio, we prioritize professionalism and a lively atmosphere in all that we do. **Position:** Dance Instructor **Location:** Fort Worth, TX **Pay:** $19-$25 per lesson (based on experience and skills) **About Us:** At Volta Dance Studio, we foster a relaxed yet growth-oriented environment where training, development, and regular social events are part of our vibrant culture. **The Role:** As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching engaging classes and private lessons to a diverse clientele. Your role will involve following lesson plans, utilizing approved teaching techniques, and fostering a welcoming environment for dancers of all ages and skill levels. **Key Responsibilities:** - Showcase a teaching style that resonates with dancers at varying skill levels. - Aid students in building a strong dance foundation. - Develop basic and advanced choreography for group events and couples. - Thoroughly prepare for and rehearse classes in advance. - Ensure students are adequately prepared for classes. - Provide constructive feedback to enhance students’ progress. - Support students with physical disabilities or visual impairments. - Assist in handling inquiries and sales from new students. - Light cleaning of studio **Desired Skills and Qualities:** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Passion for dance, music, and teaching/coaching - Initiative and a proactive approach to work - Strong sales and customer service skills - Experience or interest in event planning and social media - Adaptability and the ability to work efficiently **Work Environment:** - Relaxed and friendly atmosphere - Ongoing training opportunities - Room for personal and professional growth - Regular social events to foster a connected team - A vibrant and lively setting **Qualifications:** - Prior experience in dance instruction is a plus, but not mandatory. - Coachability, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are valued.
