Senior Systems Engineer – AzureThe Systems Engineer reports to the Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure role is responsible for administration, security, design and maintenance of our migration from an on-prem Windows Server/VMWare environment to a cloud environment (Azure).What You'll Be DoingDesign, manage, and monitor hybrid workloads across VMWare and Azure infrastructure and platform services (IaaS and PaaS) including new system and service builds, HA/DR requirements and configurationBuild processes and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications leveraging Infrastructure as CodeDesign, manage, and enhance identity management solutions leveraging Okta, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory domains using security best practicesMeasure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improveGather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and application availabilityPartner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release proceduresParticipate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planningCreate sustainable systems and services through automation and upliftsBalance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectivesAct as a last level of escalation for major company impacting issues, while collaborating with other Technical teams and our Service DeskPerform duties as assignedSkills We're SeekingBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years of experience with Systems Engineering in Microsoft environments2+ years of Azure experienceNice To Have ExperienceDevOps, ideally with Azure DevOps
